McCallaster Brothers

The McCallaster Brothers were formed in the dorm rooms of Northern State University, circa 1988. It was there the country duo of Vern and Lester found their inspiration for early and barely musical hits such as “Chinchilla” and “Barb.” A tragic boar stampede lead them to relocate to the safer pastures of the University of South Dakota, where they focused their efforts on an extensive tour of two or three shows. They would soon release “Greatest Hicks” and watch it quickly go Double Garnet for sales of over five. Rejuvenated by its success, Vern and Lester followed up with “Class Hicks” which was highly criticized and acclaimed.

Now, over two decades and several gall stones removed from their origin, this duo of questionable talent is recording its first new material in over 20 years.
